Venue notes: Carpenters Hall, San DiegoA large auditorium located on the corner of Broadway and 23rd in San Diego. Old flyers give addresses on both streets — 2309 Broadway and 959 23rd St — as there were multiple entrances. [It was previously stated here that the building was located on El Cajon, but that must have been based on misinterpreted info, as the flyers are consistent with the Broadway & 23rd address.] Hüsker Dü played here as part of an SST bands tour on 03 March 1985. Flyer lists the venue as the Rock Palace, which actually was on El Cajon, but eyewitness accounts support the Carpenters Hall location. (Thanks to David McCray.)
