According to the Boston Groupie News listing of Boston clubs through the years, it was located at 112 Broad St in the Financial District. Various other online databases confirm the address. The few documented performance dates are limited to 1982-83, suggesting that the place had a rather brief run as a live music venue.It's unclear how long after 1983 Mavericks survived under that name. The site was occupied by The Times Irish Pub & Restaurant from roughly 2000 until December 2015, when it was forced to vacate due to the impending conversion of the property to condos.
