Musician Tom Troccoli, whose band toured with Hüsker Dü back in SST's golden age, writes in late 2004:"I played the Rhythm and Brews a few times between 1994 and 1995, the year it went under. I was in a Los Angeles area band at the time called Vida with Dez Cadena and George Hurley. The place was run by Mario Lalli (leader of The Sort Of Quartet and Fatso Jetsom -- yes, that's how they spelled it), and his brother Larry who made the pizza.
