Venue notes: Skate Plus, Reno NVIce rink that was evidently used for a brief period during the mid-80s as a punk concert venue. It was located at 350 S Rock Blvd. As of 2017, the building was still standing, but no longer used as a skating rink. Online documentation indicates that Corrosion of Conformity and Fastbacks played shows here in 1985. Hüsker Dü played Reno on 26 Feb 1985, at a venue described by Dale T. Nelson, lead singer for opening band Otto's Chemical Lounge, as an "ice skating rink." Hence the deduction that Skate Plus must have been the venue in question.
