Venue notes: Studio 29, Austin TXDefunct punk club that apparently was only open under that name for a short time in the early 1980s (the flyer dates on this page range from Jan 1982 to Feb 1983). According to this page: "Studio 29, at 29th and Rio Grande, was formerly the Rome Inn, where your buddy Stevie Ray Vaughn used to play to the spaghetti crowd, then it was Paperbacks Plus, then Studio 29 for a very short time, and then it became Texas French Bread, which is still serving up the croissants today.
