Venue notes: VFW Hall, Kansas City MOFunction hall (VFW Post 18) that was a popular punk venue in the early-mid-80s. Located at 3027 Walnut, Kansas City MO 64108. Built as a Presbyterian church in 1886, it was purchased by the VFW in the 1950s and sold by them to the Vietnam Veterans Support Foundation in the 1980s, at which point it seems to have become Union Hill Veterans Hall. In the early 2010s, apparently yet again under new ownership, it became Masquerade Event Hall, and remains in operation as of 2016.[Do you have any information about this venue?
