Thanks to Mark Weygandt, from whose website (now defunct) this information was retrieved, along with the informal show reviews and comments below, which were originally posted to the Sugar internet mailing list: -------------------------------------- From: Bartt Richards Excellent show! Bob started pretty late last night (11:20) and kept the crowd going until close to 1AM. His 12-string sounded GREAT for the first few songs (I won't go into detail about each one), but then he started having tuning problems which lasted through the rest of the show. He was apologetic about it all night. Highlights (personal opinion): WOW - Hoover Dam sounds better acoustic than with a band! After he finished this song, Bob sort of smiled to himself and nodded as if to say, "That sounded pretty good!" New #1 and Vaporub are bothe fantastic songs, rivalling the best from BM:BM. Other favorites: The Last Night, Celebrated Summer, the whole encore. Bob took a cigarette break after IICCYM and asked for questions. His comment about the "Daily Show" theme was "I gave them a C-side -- How many times can you write Granny Cool." Most of the other questions were "how is (fill in the name)?" which Bob politely answered. Someone asked him how it felt to be an icon, to which he responded "I'm not an icon - I've got more dreams left than memories", prompting a roar from the audience as he began the second set.
