HUMBLED HUSKER

The excellent Husker Du, whose fireball attack of 100 mph rock
and balladry has won them admirers on both sides of the
Atlantic, release a new Warners single, "Sorry Somehow" on
September 8th.

Written by drummer Grant Hart, and produced by Hart and
guitarist Bob Mould, the song features on the Huskers' debut
Warners LP "Candy Apple Grey".  It's backed with another album
cut entitled "All This I've Done For You".

A bumper 12 inch backs these two tracks with a live version of
"Flexible Flyer", the favourite "Celebrated Summer" (from last
year's "New Day Rising" LP) and "Fattie".

"We don't consider what we're doing to be anything to do with
the rock 'n' roll life style, or the surrounding fantasies",
Mould once said.  "We get up on stage and simply tell our
stories...  ."
