Guilty Face #2 Candy Apple Grey album review

This brief review of the just-released Hüsker Dü Candy Apple Grey album appeared in Guilty Face #2 in the spring of 1986. It's not credited but was probably written by either Alastair or Peter Nixon, the zine's editors (more likely Alastair). 

HUSKER DU - CANDY APPLE GREY LP.
All the hardcore thrashers will hate
this,but I still love Husker Du,as
you may already have gathered. This
LP is a mega-improvement on FLIP
YOUR WIG - there's at least 5 songs
on here which can only be described
as 'simply brilliant',but even the
slow acoustic songs are moving and
powerful.Huskers have come up with
the goods yet again.
